“SERVING YOU” is the new slogan from this cruise line.  Rick Sasso, president of MSC notes that while social media is important, the human relationship is where MSC would like to focus.  From the CEO to the staff in the offices to the on board employees, they want to take service to a new level.  There is a commitment to hiring individuals to support the travel partners and they are ‘shoring’ up new executive talents. Beginning with the Davina and branching out to all of their ships as well as their new ships, there will be a concentration on bringing the Italian ship sensibility with the expectations of an English speaking consumer.

Ken Muskat, Executive VP of Sales, marketing, PR and guest services spoke  about a 20 city bus tour promoting the new sales force and they will have a strong presence in the state of Florida. Of note is a FIAT Cabrio convertible give-away to one lucky travel partner and one guest. Details of this will be on their website. Other new offerings will be opportunities for destinations legal weddings at various Caribbean ports starting August 2nd and an expansion of the fleet.  Others with highlighted executive positions include Rick Cazzell VP trade support and guest services and Jim Henwood, SVP, hotel ops and group services.
